Galileo Galilei (1564–1642) said,"The universe cannot be read until we have learned the language and become familiar with the characters in which it is written. The history of art is the history of any activity or product made by humans in a visual form for aesthetical or communicative purposes, expressing ideas, emotions or, in general, a worldview.
Mathematics has plays an invaluable role in biology, physics, chemistry, economics, sociology, and engineering. Mathematics allows us to build spaceships and investigate the geometry of our universe.
The history of chess spans some 1500 years. The earliest predecessor of the game probably originated in India, before the 6th century AD. From India, the game spread to Persia.
